Otolaryngology, the study of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat, is the oldest medical specialty in America. Otolaryngologists are commonly referred to as ENT physicians.

Dr. Miya and Dr. Torchinsky are board certified in Otolaryngology and treat diseases associated with the sinuses, voice box (larynx), oral cavity, and the mouth and throat. They also can treat primary care ENT problems.

Ears

Loss of hearing affects 10 percent of North Americans. Dr. Miya and Dr. Torchinsky are trained in various medical and surgical treatments of hearing, ear infections, balance disorders, tinnitus, nerve pain, and facial nerve disorders.

Nose

It is estimated that around 35 million people suffer from chronic sinusitis each year in America. Our experienced Otolaryngologists utilized top-of-the-line technology to ease sinus symptoms and treat chronic sinusitis.

Throat

Everything from eating to communicating is involved in this area of medicine. Dr. Miya and Dr. Torchinsky specialize in treating disorders of the larynx and the esophagus, including voice and swallowing disorders.

Head & Neck

This part of the body is the center of all important nerves that control smell, hearing, sight and the face. At Miya & Torchinsky ENT our staff is expertly trained to treat infectious diseases of the head and neck, both benign and malignant.
