Read Our Statement Regarding COVID-19 and Our Practice

COVID-19

Dear Patients,

Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to limit visitation of non-urgent patient complaints to assist in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic .  With growing evidence of community spread in San Diego, we feel that it would be irresponsible to see patients in the usual manner until further understanding of risk is appreciated.  As we acquire more knowledge about the disease, it is becoming clear that the majority of cases are transmitted by asymptomatic or only mildly symptomatic individuals.

We will still be available for concerns with established patients and for more urgent matters. One of us will be available to see urgent matters related to our specialty on any given day.  We are not closing fully, but rather as the CDC has suggested “hunkering down” to minimize risks to patients.

We ask that individuals with typical Coronavirus symptoms, especially those with fever and dry cough, not come to our office for evaluation.  This is for the protection of others. We suggest these individuals contact the CDC hotline at 1-800-232-4636. In addition the San Diego Department of Public Health is providing up to the minute information at https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/hhsa/programs/phs/community_epidemiology/dc/2019-nCoV.html

Thank you for your understanding in this very difficult time.  If we all work together, we will get through this.

Please remember to wash your hands, avoid large groups of people and if you feel ill, self isolate.

We are in this fight with you!
